The draw for the next round of FA competitions usually takes place on the first Monday following the completion of fixtures.

Update: The has been made and it’s another long away trip for Ascot United. And here is the FULL draw.

We would expect the draw for the second round proper of the Buildbase FA Vase, which may include Ascot United and Bracknell Town if they can defeat or earn a replay against their respective opponents on Saturday – to be on Monday 23rd October.

FootballinBracknell has emailed the Football Association for confirmation.

The round dates of course are already known with the second round proper scheduled for Saturday 12th November and you can see the full list of dates right up to the Wembley Stadium final here.

Bracknell Town travel down to Croydon on Saturday afternoon for their first round proper tie, the first time they’ve appeared in the ‘proper rounds’ since a 2-0 win over Wodson Park in 2010 while Ascot United are on the road to Hollands & Blair.

We will update this article when we have confirmation from the FA.
