AFC Aldermaston and Wokingham & Emmbrook met in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East on Saturday afternoon, with the Isotopes coming away with a 2-0 win.

The goals came courtesy of Joe Cummuskey and Kai Parton-Edey in the second half after Wokingham goalkeeper Sean Woodward saved a penalty in the first.

The win sent Aldermaston up to fourth in Division 1 East, overtaking Bicester Town who lost 4-2 at Rayners Lane.

Elsewhere in the division, there was a win for Woodley United at home to Sandhurst Town in the #oakleyvoakley derby while Finchampstead were also beaten at home.

Aldermaston have one festive fixture, a trip to Wantage Town Reserves while Wokingham & Emmbrook visit Finchampstead – both on Boxing Day.
