Fresh from knocking out favourites Penn & Tylers Green in the Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Cup quarter finals, Risborough Rangers have drawn Hellenic League Division 1 East promotion hopefuls Woodley United in the last four.

Woodley made short work of Great Horwood on Saturday, beating the North Bucks League side 5-0 while Risborough defeated Penn 4-2 on penalties after finishing the match goal-less.

The draw, which also included Marlow United, Wendover and Kintbury Rangers with the latter two still to play their quarter final – was made at the Berks & Bucks County FA office in Abingdon on Monday afternoon.

Marlow are former members of the Hellenic League but currently top the Thames Valley Counties Premier League while Risborough are fourth in the Spartan South Midlands League Division 1.

Posting on twitter, Woodley manager Michael Herbert said: “Toughest draw we could of got but to win the cup you have to beat the best. Looking forward to the challenge.”
