Thame United went back to the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division on Wednesday night thanks to a 4-1 win at Brackley Town Saints.

The result puts United back above Bracknell Town by two points – although they have now played a game more than the Robins in the 34 match season, and assuming both sides pick up wins at the weekend then the table will stay as it is.

2 Bracknell Town 29 23 3 3 70 72

Thame’s win came courtesy of the division’s top scorer Lynton Goss’s 32nd, 33rd and 34th goals of the season as well as a strike from Daniel West.

Bracknell’s ‘catch up’ game will be on Saturday 25th March when Longlevens visit Larges Lane.
