Stuck for footballing choice this weekend? FootballinBracknell will attempt to pick what we think will be the match of the day every Saturday and this week it’s got to be Sandhurst Town at home to AFC Aldermaston.

Why?

It’d be difficult not to pick any of the matches on Bracknell Town’s title run in for this feature, but the Fizzers vs Atomics tie at Bottom Meadow is going to do it not least because both sides have surprised us a little bit when we’ve seen them this season and the Meadow is a decent little venue with half time tea in a proper mug.

We didn’t necessarily expect Kieran Jennings Aldermaston to be flying quite so high and full credit to them for doing so while we maybe thought Sandhurst would be a little higher – a run in their last seven games would certainly do that.

Match details?

It’s a 3pm kick off at Bottom Meadow which is on Yorktown Road next to the council offices. GU47 9BJ . Parking on site is limited so alternative forms of transport are recommended and the Wellington Arms is decent for a pre match pint.

And an alternative?

We will plump for Bracknell though as the alternative. Simply nothing less than a win at home to Royal Wootton Bassett Town will do especially as Thame play bottom side Burnham.

See the full weekend fixtures (just in case you think we are wrong) in our weekend preview here.
