Ex-pro’s Gareth Ainsworth and Luther Blissett are your Bracknell Football Award judges

When we started running this local football news ‘blog’ I’m not quite sure we ever expected to cross paths with any ex-pros, but that’s what going to happen thanks to the Bracknell Football Awards!

We’re delighted to be able to tell you that former England, Watford and AC Milan striker Luther Blissett and former Queen’s Park Rangers and current Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth have both agreed to judge your manager, goal and player nominations in our inaugural awards.

We’ve had nearly 200 entries with the most popular categories so far being the Young Player and Goal of the Season awards with profiles on some of the entries here.

We are hoping to get Luther, Gareth and one other to be announced in a room together toward the end of the month to go through entries – so if ever there was motivation to nominate someone and help us spread the word, now is that time!

Here’s the nomination form – you can read more about each Bracknell Football Award category here.

Can’t see the form? Click to have it open up externally here.
