Binfield youngster Eddie Lee nominated for Young Player of the Season award

Binfield youth team hot shot Eddie Lee has been nominated for a Bracknell Football Award in the category of ‘Young Player of the Season’.

Lee has had a marvellous season for John Polston’s Allied Counties South Division champions scoring 23 goals in 14 league matches as the Moles stormed to the title including a hat-trick against then leaders Camberley Town.

The nominations for the Binfield youngster include this one: “23 goals in 14 Allied Counties starts as only a 15 year old, a call up to the Berks & Bucks U16 squad, part of the Binfield u16 Surrey Youth League title winning squad and is being closely watched by a Championship Club! Eddie definitely gets my vote!”.

A second short and sweet nomination reads: “Quality for Binfield Allied all season and South Division top scorer.”

If you think Eddie is deserving of the ‘Young Player of the Season’ award or you have someone who you’d like to nominate, please fill out the form below to cast your vote!
