Hemi Mistry nominated for Bracknell Football Award

Hemi Mistry nominated for Bracknell Football Award

Bracknell Town Juniors volunteer Hemi Mistry has been volunteered for a Bracknell Football Award in the category of ‘Volunteer of the Year’.

Hemi has been involved with the junior arm of the Robins for over a decade and has been described in her nomination as an ‘unsung hero’.

The nomination reads: “I would like to nominate Hemi Mistry for volunteer of the season.

“Hemi is definitely an unsung hero who deserves recognition for the time and effort that she has given to Bracknell Town Juniors. She has been involved in BTJFC since 2005 where she is the treasurer for the club but she does much more than that.

“You would have found her at Birch Hill every Saturday morning come rain or shine making teas coffees and bacon sarnies for the supporters.

“Bracknell Town is a big part of Hemi’s life and she is definatley the kind of volunteer that every club needs. Hemi is keen to promote community football and makes sure that every child whatever their ability or financial position has a team to play in. Hemi really deserves this award and it would mean the world to her. Bracknell Town Juniors would not be the same club without her.”
