Running FootballinBracknell has been great fun for Duds and I, we’ve managed to get to a lot of different games and grounds – places we’ve not necessarily been to before and met loads of new people. It’s been great.

We will carry on in to the 2017/18 season with hopefully a couple of people on board to help us with the coverage but running the site does carry a financial cost.

Thanks to last seasons sponsors EasyBranding and Calibra Tree Surgeons we were able to cover our costs, but moving in to the new season we need to move on to a bigger server to cope with the 30,000 views a month, pay a couple of extra bills and have a bit of a site revamp.

We estimate the tech running costs for the 2017/18 season will be between £300 and £400 and any sponsorship would be a one off payment covering the 12 months from June 17 to May 18.

Thankfully both last seasons sponsors have agreed to continue, but we are looking for a couple of other local companies to join them and help out with costs for the coming season. FiB is and will remain not for profit but we hope you understand Duds and I don’t want to be out of pocket!

Both sponsors last seasons had 500,000 views each for their ads on the site, so if you’d like to know how you can help or even sign up right now – visit our ‘advertise’ page here.

Thanks for your continued support, kind words and readership this season, it’s been a blast – on to 17/18!
