The Football Association have confirmed round dates for the 2017/18 Buildbase FA Vase which will kick off in September.
The competition is the FA’s third national tournament after the FA Cup and FA Trophy, and is open to teams playing at step 5 (e.g. Hellenic Premier) down to step 7 (e.g. Thames Valley Premier).
Orignally founded in 1974 following the abolition of the FA Amateur Cup, the Vase is now competed for by over 500 teams with the final at Wembley Stadium as part of a double header with the FA Trophy.

The 2016/17 winners were South Shields who beat Cleethorpes Town 4-0 in the final.

First Round Qualifying – Saturday 9 September 2017
Second Round Qualifying – Saturday 23 September 2017
First Round – Saturday 21 October 2017
Second Round – Saturday 11 November 2017
Third Round – Saturday 2 December 2017
Fourth Round – Saturday 6 January 2018
Fifth Round – Saturday 3 February 2018
Quarter Final – Saturday 24 February 2018
Semi-Final first leg – Saturday 17 March 2018
Semi-Final second leg – Saturday 24 March 2018
The Final – Sunday 20 May 2018
