The Football Association have announced the FA Cup round dates for the season ahead but which clubs will they affect?

This seasons competition will kick off on Saturday 5th August with the draw being made public on Friday 7th July.

We are expecting to see Ascot United, Binfield, Bracknell Town, Highmoor-IBIS, Windsor and Thatcham Town all enter from East Berkshire and all embark on the road to Wembley.

Last season Ascot United won through two rounds before losing to Tonbridge Angels in a first qualifying round replay, Binfield lost in the extra preliminary round to North Greenford United and Bracknell Town reached the preliminary round before being beaten by Egham Town.

The Hellenic League has, as it did last season scheduled a round of competitive league fixtures prior to the commencement of the FA Cup meaning most sides will play on either the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the weekend.

The Football Association also revealed the round dates for the FA Vase which will begin in September.

We’ve setup a new WhatsApp group allowing you to debate the local football issues with like minded individuals. You can find out how to join it here.
