It’s Cup action again for fourteen of our Bracknell Town & District Sunday League 1st and 2nd Division teams who compete this weekend in 2nd round ties in the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup.

Three all Bracknell ties see Loveman United take on Winkfield (both of Division 1) whilst AFC Crowthorne (Division 1) face Braybrooke Athletic (Division 2). An all Division 2 tie pits Warfield United and Bracknell Saint Germain against each other. Ashridge Park (who play P&I C United, beaten by Whitegrove in the Junior Trophy final two seasons ago), Finchampstead Athletic Reserves, Berkshire All Stars, Binfield Royals, Bracknell Athletic, Newbold College, Athletico Ascot and 3M will all look to make progress.

In the Premier Division Crowthorne Inn, currently top, travel to an out-of-sorts Morale Madrid and will look to put distance between themselves and the chasing pack with a win. Second placed William Twigg Vets travel to promoted Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW, playing only their second league game of the season, whilst 3rd placed FC Meta entertain a struggling Bracknell Cavaliers. Other fixtures see Golden Farmer Rangers take on FC Fernhill, and a tasty looking game between promoted Intercity, currently lying in 4th, play Champions Finchampstead Athletic.

The only Division 1 game to be played this weekend sees top team WAB travel to fancied Raglan (3rd) that will test WAB’s resolve to stay top of the table. A win for Raglan would see them move 2nd whilst a win for WAB would increase the gap at the top to 7 points with Loveman playing in the County Cup.

In Division 2 Woodley United will look to make ground on the leading pack and will move into 2nd position if they were to beat AFC Crowthorne Reserves whilst Ashridge Park Royals v. Berks County completes this week’s league fixtures in the Division.

With no game scheduled this week in Division 3 for Bracknell Corinthians, Woodley Saints will look to take advantage with an away fixture against Winnersh Town and a win or a draw for Saints will move them clear of Corinthians at the top. The other stand-out fixture in the Division sees 3rd placed WAB Reserves entertain Berkshire United.

A full schedule of fixtures in Division 4 includes top team Crownwood Dukes travel to 3rd placed Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves with only 3 points separating the two whilst 2nd placed Bracknell Royals take on 4th placed Finchampstead Athletic A.
