James Knight could make it an enviable hat trick of awards this season following his nomination as Player of the Season in the EPC Bracknell Football Awards 2018.

The Binfield captain has already been rightly highlighted for playing every minute of the last two Hellenic League Premier Division seasons and lifted the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup after the Moles beat Thatcham Town.

Now Knight could take home the ‘coverted’ player of the season gong.

Nominations for the midfielder read: Unsung hero of the Binfield side. Consistent performer at the heart of the Moles midfield. Covers every blade of grass and played every minute of every game the last two seasons.

Another nomination received says: James has played every minute of every match of the past two seasons for Binfield. This year, as skipper, he has lead by example and in April was award the Supporters Player of the Month, and was the Supporters Player of the Year too. A great example of a footballer at this level.
