Virginia Water begin Hellenic League Premier with tough away day

Newly promoted Virgina Water will begin their first season in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division with a tough away day to Flackwell Heath.

Waters’ won the Hellenic League Division 1 East but will face a bit of a baptism of fire at step five when they walk out at Marcus Richardson’s Heath side who finished fifth last season.

The Hellenic League has released the first round of it’s Premier Division fixtures and with no FA Cup involvement, Virginia Water currently have two games in August.

Following their opening game on Tuesday 7th August they welcome Brackley Town Saints to Stag Meadow in Windsor seven days later.

The club have made some good signings in pre season with former Binfield and Heath midfielder Liam Whyte joining while Bracknell Town development team player Harvey Griffiths has signed up.

  • 14/08/18 Virginia Water vs Brackley Town Saints (ko 7.45pm)
