Football in Bracknell supporters EPC have announced that Futsal will be come a key part of it’s programme over the coming year with big plans moving in to next season.

EPC are primary sponsors of the Bracknell Football Awards which celebrate the very best of Football in Bracknell.

EPC have spaces in it’s Futsal Development Programme for Boys & Girls in Year 2 – Year 6 which started on Wednesday 26th September.

A release from the company said: The EPC team have been busy behind the scenes preparing for our Futsal programme as we look to announce exciting plans for the development of Futsal in Bracknell.

For the 2019/20 season starting next September, EPC are aiming to have a fully registered Futsal club operating from a venue in Bracknell. Futsal is extremely important and is a vital part of our player pathway, it’s a hugely positive tool for player development as it consistently challenges players in the technical, physical and tactical areas.

EPC are going to go full steam ahead with the aim of producing a high-quality Futsal project in Bracknell as they aim to play regular Futsal fixtures against other clubs and centres, as well as hosting and entering Futsal tournaments each term.

The PDP (Player Development Programme) team will be encouraged to take their Futsal Level 1 qualification as it becomes an instrumental part of their programme, and every child will enjoy a Futsal specific syllabus on a weekly basis to prepare them for friendly fixtures & tournaments. So much can be taken from Futsal to grassroots Football & they are excited to see where the future takes them in the Futsal world.

With all plans being set, they commence their 18/19 Futsal programme next Wednesday evening at Edgebarrow Sports Centre for U7 (Year 2) – U11 (Year 6) players. Both sessions will be an hour long with U7 (Year 2) & U8 (Year 3) players training 5.45pm – 6.45pm & their U9 (Year 4), U10 (Year 5) & U11 (Year 6) players training 6.45pm – 7.45pm.

Their U7 and U8 group currently have 5 available spaces while the U9, U10 & U11 group have more available – for all new & interested players, a free two-week trial is available to book online prior to committing to the programme.
