Sandhurst Town captain Harry Oakley has parted company with Combined Counties League Division 1 side Sandhurst Town.

Oakley broke the news of his departure from Bottom Meadow on twitter on Wednesday morning. He said: “Want to wish everyone at Sandhurst Town the best of luck for the rest of the season. Loved my time there, and sad to be moving on. Onwards, and now a free agent.”

Oakley played 47 times for Sandhurst over three seasons in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East between 2016 and 2018 and five times this season in the Combined Counties League having battled back from seven months out with an MCL tear.

Speaking to Football in Bracknell, Oakley – who was playing alongside his brother Charlie, revealed that he is actively looking for a new club.
