James Richardson makes English Schools final 20

Ascot United youngster James Richardson has been included in the English Schools under 18 England squad for the 2018/19 season after a successful trial.

Richardson, a left or right winger will be joined in the 20-man squad by youngsters from around the country including Staffordshire, Humberside and Sussex.

The squad will then face a friendly against the RAF on 5th January 2019 and will be reduced to an official squad of 18.

Four players from clubs in East Berkshire took part in the trial at at the start of December including Eddie Lee at Binfield, Richardson and Adam Forder from Ascot and Connor Holland from Wokingham & Emmbrook.

Richardson and Lee were both on target for the Berks & Bucks County FA in a match against the Devon FA at the end of November.
