Ascot United and Windsor kept apart in Hellenic League Cup semi-final draw

Following wins on Saturday, both East Berkshire sides Ascot United and Windsor have been kept apart in the draw for the Bluefin Sports Hellenic League Challenge Cup semi-finals.

Ascot beat Longlevens 3-2 on Saturday while Windsor and Dan Roberts dispatched Cheltenham Saracens 3-0.

The other East Berks Quarter Finalists were Binfield who unfortunately didn’t make it past Wantage Town, the Freds winning 3-0 at Alfredian Park.

The draw gives Ascot another home tie against Wantage, while Windsor are away, and awaiting the outcome of the Bishops Cleeve vs Almondsbury Quarter Final.

  • Bishops Cleeve or Almondsbury vs Windsor

The Hellenic League have also posted the draw on the competition website for the Third Round of the Supplementary Cup.

Both Holyport and Woodley United – who came from a goal down to beat Chalvey Sports on Saturday are in the hat with a Quarter Final place at stake.
