Windsor’s top scorer Dan Roberts will once again turn out for Vanarama National League South side Slough Town on Saturday.

The youngster is dual registered with the neighbouring clubs after an impressive breakthrough season for the Royalists in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division where he has scored 34 goals in 40 games.

Roberts made his Slough debut at the start of the month in the Rebels 1-0 win over Hemel Hempstead Town, a match he was voted man of the match for.

Windsor manager Mick Woodham confirmed Roberts would play for the Rebels. Speaking to Football in Bracknell he said: “Dan Roberts is in the Slough Town squad for their game against Billericay Town on Saturday.”

Speaking ahead of his home tie with Longlevens in the Hellenic Premier, Woodham has several injury concerns. He said: “Kai Davis is still injured and is probably a week away from featuring, Keiran Knight is carrying a slight knock so we won’t risk him but everyone else is fit and raring to go.

After recent injury concerns, Robins boss Geoff Warner was upbeat ahead of the weekend visit of Tooting & Mitcham United in the Bostik League.

Warner said that long term absentee Seb Bowerman was back in training and would be on the bench on Saturday while Kensley Maloney also trained, but wasn’t quite ready to feature.

Bracknell re-signed centre back Justin Clayton this week and Warner said that another possible signing was unlikely with Bowerman and Maloney on their way back.

Ascot United

The Yellamen travel to Brackley Town Saints on Saturday without captain Louis Bowers in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.

Manager Jamie Tompkins said: “Louis has aggravated his quad injury so he will miss this weekends game, but James Richardson returns to the first team squad. We are looking forward to what will be an exciting game between two young and talented teams.”
