Bracknell Town will all but assure themselves of a play off place with a win over sixth placed Ware on Saturday in the Bostik League South Central Division on Saturday.

A win would see Bracknell a point from assuring a place in the end of season shake up but manager Geoff Warner says his side cannot afford to let up with momentum key.

Warey (sorry) of the result the visitors earned in the last meeting between the two sides (Ware won 7-2 in Hertfordshire), Warner said: “It’s a big game, they and Tooting & Mitcham are the only sides that can really catch us so we need to make sure we keep going until it is mathematically done.”

The game is effectively a promotion six-pointer but the Robins boss will be without Jamie McClurg who is out injured.

Warner said: “Dodds [McClurg] is out but Anton Rodgers did well for an hour last week and is in the squad again.”

Speaking of Rodgers, Warner added: “He is what he is, he’s a very good footballer. Dodds is a bit more vocal in the middle but Anton is a very good midfielder and doesn’t give the ball away.

Bracknell will also see Carl Davies return as well as Sean Moore who played 120 minutes for Binfield in the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup semi final on Tuesday.

Joel Jacobs will also return after being replaced by Moore on 17 minutes last Saturday at Marlow. Warner said: “Joel suffered a split eye and had four stitches but he will play. It wasn’t a head injury and definitely wasn’t deliberate.”
