Marlow United have sealed the Thames Valley Premier League title after a 4-2 victory over Woodley United Royals.

An incredible ten game winning streak to end the league season has seen Marlow United usurp Cookham Dean at the top of the table. The last time United lost a league fixture was in early January against Mortimer.

It means that Marlow United (who groundshare at Isthmian League Marlow FC) will be playing Step 6 football next season. It remains to be seen what division Marlow United will find themselves in but it seems likely to be Hellenic League Division One East.

Marlow United have experience of the Hellenic League having been members of the league from 06/07 to 09/10.

United still have more silverware to chase with a Berks and Bucks Senior Final against Old Bradwell United at Abingdon United on Saturday 27th April and a Berkshire Trophy Centre Senior Cup Final against Mortimer at Reading FC’s Madejski Stadium on Wednesday 5th May.

Bracknell based Berks County secured a much improved fifth placed finish in the division this season. Lee Simpson’s side were 10th last year.
