Withers and McClurg lead Binfield at Tuffley Rovers

A long away day for Binfield in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division as they visit Tuffley Rovers without manager Roger Herridge in the dugout.

In his stead, assistant Carl Withers and experienced midfielder Jamie McClurg and the pair will be without the injured Danny Horscroft and Jack Thompson-Wheeler while Josh Helmore is away.

Reading City are also heading west to Lognlevens, a side they did battle with at the bottom of the table last season.

Manager Simon Johnson has Arthur Furness and Devonn Reid unavailable and Matt Stockill suspended after his sending off against Virginia Water.

Making it a trio of clubs in the west (did they car share?) are Virginia Water who face Lydney Town.

Ceri Jones has reported: “Couple more on the treatment table, work and holiday commitments. Sanders, Baker, Simmons, Wright and Dillon all out
but Peters, Finn Lewis, Coathup all return to complete the squad.

Bracknell Town are at home to FC Romania and are again without Shane Cooper-Clark but manager Sam Lock has said Robb Sheridan and Dan Brown will return. The club will also have new signing James Holden in goal.

In the Hellenic League Division One East, Holyport manager Derek Sweetman will have the same squad as the Reading fixture on Monday night for the visit of Langley in the Summerleaze derby.

Wokingham & Emmbrook welcome Marlow United to Lowther Road. Boss Dan Bateman said: “We are still missing Liam Eagle and Connor Holland away this weekend but got a strong 16.”

Combined Counties League Premier Division side Ascot United have a number of injury concerns ahead of the trip to Balham.

Manager Jamie Tompkins said: “The injury list now includes Chris Ellis, Rory Merrick, James Knight and Callum Carlisle. Louis Bouwers misses out due to suspension. We are pleased to welcome back Fabien Etienne to the squad this weekend.

“It’s a testing time for our squad as we head into an important run of games but we remain confident in maintaining our unbeaten run.”

The Yellamen head ‘home’ to the Racecourse Ground on Tuesday night when the new facility hosts its first game.

In Division One, Sandhurst Town head over to Jersey Bulls with Luke Burrows, Jamie Mitchell and Tom Cooper back in the squad but Paul Rake misses out due to work commitments and Carl Prestige is on holiday.

The Fizzers flew out from Gatwick is at 11:20am.

Finally, Eversley & California play host to British Airways at Fox Lane. Matt Angell said: “I’m happy to have a fairly settled side for this weekend and hopefully build on our excellent point away at Chessington but we welcome back attack minded Lewis Robson after gaining more fitness work with the development team, young 16 year old Alex Lennon and Ben Matire also join the squad as we continue to give the youth a chance at our level.”
