Callum Willmoth suspended for Thatcham Town in FA Trophy – Team news

BetVictor Southern League Division One South side Thatcham Town face their first FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round tie since 2011/12 when they visit Enfield Town.

We’d say the Kingfishers have their work cut out for them as a step 4 side facing and Isthmian League step 3 side, but Danny Robinson’s side made such short work of Swindon Supermarine in the previous round that it’s surely the home side who will be wary of the blues threat.

Speaking to Football in Berkshire, manager Danny Robinson gave an update on the team news ahead of the tie. He said: “The only news is Callum Willmoth is suspended and Archie Matthews, goalkeeper on loan from Swindon Town, is still in goal for Paul Strudley. Other than that we are full strength.”

Bracknell Town vs Waltham Abbey

BetVictor Isthmian League South Central Division One

The Robins welcome Waltham Abbey to Larges Lane as they look to build on a good 5-1 win at Staines Town last weekend.

On the matchday squad. manager Mark Tallentire said: ” We are going with the same squad that went to Staines.”

Tallentire also said his side hadn’t seen any further in’s and out’s during the week.

The Yellamen can extend their lead at the top of the table but manager Jamie Tompkins has a few concerns. He said: “Elliott Carey is serving a suspension today and our injury list is still high. Meanwhile, James Smith and Tom Wensley have joined Fleet Town.”

Cookham Dean vs Sandhurst Town

The Fizzers head to Thames Valley Premier League Cookham Dean in the County Cup with boss Michael Herbert saying: “Sam Green, Matt Watson and Haydon Richardson are all unavailable. Jake Nicholls and James Pilgrim are available after missing our last game.”

Eversley & California vs Farnham Town

Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Division One

Boars boss Matthew Angell is hoping to get a bit of consistency in his squad ahead of the visit of Farnham Town. He said: “A fairly unchanged squad today with Josh Francis back from injury. Sam Knight, Ellis Wint and Lewis Robson back in after being away. Squad is starting to take shape and this is turn will bring more consistency and will help us put some more points on the board.”
