Enter Maidenhead United. The penultimate Berkshire side yet to kick a ball in the 2020/21 Emirates FA Cup competition are in the hat for the Fourth Qualifying Round along with – Tuesday night results pending – Bracknell Town and Slough Town.

The Vanarama National League Magpies have endured a tough start to the season but on Monday night a Josh Coley goal was enough to earn a first three points of the season at a Wrexham side currently enjoying the national spotlight thanks to a possible investment from Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

However, you didn’t come here for North Walian tittle-tattle, did you? You want to know when the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw will take place. The good news, it’s the first ‘proper’ draw of this seasons competition and will be broadcast live on TalkSport radio.

An FA spokesperson confirmed: “The draw for the Fourth Round Qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup will be aired live on talkSPORT2 from 1pm on Thursday 15th October. The draw will take place in The Social – hosted by Ade Oladipo. Listen on DAB radio or via talkSPORT.com.”

Fourth Qualifying Round matches are due to take place on Saturday 24th October 2020.

On Tuesday night, Bracknell head to Haringey Borough while Slough host Bath City at Arbour Park in the Third Qualifying Round for the right to be in the hat for that draw.
