Several Uhlsport Hellenic League games for the weekend of Saturday 24th October 2020 have been postponed due to Coronavirus precautions.

Saturday update: Shrivenham vs Windsor is now off

Binfield’s trip to Brimscombe & Thrupp is off with the Moles reporting ‘a Covid-19 situation at the club’ while on Tuesday Reading City reported a positive test that saw their Hellenic League Challenge Cup tie with Long Crendon, and Saturday’s visit of Ardley United postponed.

Fellow Hellenic Premier side Westfields are also currently sitting out the league campaign after a positive test was confirmed by the club three days ago. The title challengers were due to face Flackwell Heath on Saturday and Lydney Town vs Holmer Green is off – though this one is only precautionary according to Holmer’s website: “An outstanding test result within the Lydney camp means the game has been called off as a precaution.”

There are no games reported affected in the Hellenic League Division One East at the time of writing. Equally there are no reported postponements for any reason so far in the Combined Counties League.

All matches postponed in the Hellenic League for Covid-19 reasons will be rearranged.

A full list of all the remaining weekend fixtures is here.
