Former Windsor manager Mick Woodham is back in football, linking up with Vanarama National League South side Slough Town.

Woodham stepped down as Royalists boss in August 2019 after seven years in charge at Stag Meadow having repeatedly inspired Windsor to success with two very memorable FA Vase runs to the Quarter Finals and Fifth Round.

He joins Slough along with Paul Barry in a scouting role, the Rebels have confirmed.

Barry was previously joint manager at Hampton & Richmond Borough and will continue a coaching role at Bedfont Sports.

In a statement, the Rebels explained the duo’s roles as: “Their remit will be to watch local games and identify talented players from the non-league pyramid who might be capable of improving our first team squad.”

Woodham previously managed Slough ‘find’ Dan Robert’s during his time at Stag Meadow.
