The latest entry to Football in Berkshire’s ‘Getting Know Your Club’ – East Berks Football League edition features Baylis FC who have just completed their first ever season.

The team finished their first season in the EBFL in sixth in Division Two and have ambitions to expand the number of teams.

Ground and address: Harvey Park, Tamar Way, Langley, SL3 8TU

Is there an entry fee to game and what are the prices?: No fee.

Are refreshments available at the ground?: No

What facilities does your club’s ground have: Toilets, Car park.

Club kit colours (home and away): Yellow and Black home, Red and Black away.

What is the ambition for the club? E.G. move up the pyramid? Provide a service for the community?: Move up the Pyramid compete in the Premier Division, and provide service for the community. We want to try to create a youth team from u16s down to u7s, help young teenagers looking to go into coaching have a local club and try to be as big as we possibly can be.

Who sponsors the club? What does that do for the club?: Currently no sponsor but will be with Al Miftah Aid, this will help expose the brand of the club help invest into the club so we can grow and make youth and reserve teams.

Does your club have a youth/junior section?: Not yet we have only existed for one season.

Who are the big characters and volunteers at your club? Who makes the club tick?: The club Manager, Haseeb Ishaq, the head coach Mohsin Arif and the club Sec Aqib Khan, the backbone of the club they pretty much do everything!

What is the big moment in the clubs history?: Loads of history to make!

Who would you say has been your best ever player and why?: Couldn’t say yet the clubs too new.
