Football in Berkshire is proudly launching a new monthly recognition campaign in association with Wokingham Today and Reading Today called ‘That Grassroots Moment’.

Essentially, each month we’ll be asking for tales from your club – whether it’s a moment of genius like we saw at Reading City when they turned a hoax meme into an actual food option at the Rivermoor, maybe it’s that mum or dad who picked up four players to save your teams match from cancellation, maybe there’s someone who just deserves a bit of recognition at your club or perhaps simply, there was a real moment of magic on the pitch that we need to know about.

Obviously, we’re looking for moments with a Berkshire angle, but it the moment can be from the National League, women’s football, junior football, anything you like, if there’s a good story to tell we want to know about it.

What happens next? We’ll share the stories on our social media platforms and the best ones will appear in print across the Wokingham and Reading Today publications.

All you need to do is submit ‘That Grassroots Moment’ in the form below:

By clicking the Submit button, you are agreeing to allow Football in Berkshire,  Wokingham Today and Reading Today to share your moment on their websites and social media.
