After scoring a brace last weekend, Ben Harris fired in a superb hat-trick in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division as Ascot United beat Fairford Town 4-2 with the result moving the Yellamen up three places into sixteenth place and more importantly outside the relegation zone.

Whilst it’s virtually impossible to see all four teams relegated, the psychological boost will lift Neil Richards side who also saw Trevor Mutero score.

Despite a goal-less first half, Bracknell Town continued their title push with three unanswered goals courtesy of Joe Grant and an Adam Cornell brace to see off Gloucester based Longlevens.

Binfield also returned from out West after a thrilling 2-1 win away at Brimscombe & Thrupp. Brad Paglioroli and Ian Davies both found the net after the hosts had missed an early penalty before Chris Greenhough struck very late but the Moles hung-on to win.

Callum Samual-Hartman had given Woodley United a half time leaf but Royal Wootton Bassett Town recovered after the break to win 2-1 and it’s five league defeats in a row for United who fall to eighteenth place.
Windsor hosted Thatcham Town and although Barry Hayles equalised Liam Ferdinand’s strike, two goals from the divisions leading scorer Shane Cooper-Clark keeps the Kingfishers in second place.

In Division One East, Wokingham & Emmbrook had a field day thrashing Thame Rangers 8-0 courtesy of Josh Pearson (3), Elliott Rushforth, James Charlton, Jordan Blake, Sam Lawrence-Whiting and Ben Winship.

There were also wins for Virgina Water and Sandhurst Town over Chalfont Wasps and Didcot Town Reserves respectively.

Berks County defeated Woodley United Royals for the second week in a row, this time Liam Bourke and Alex Hills goals earning a 2-0 league victory.

AFC Aldermaston exited the Maidenhead & Norfolkian Senior Cup losing 2-1 o East Berks League side Old Windsor whilst Bracknell Town Development drew 2-2 with Frimley Green in the Suburban  Football League.
