An injury time winner from Kensley Maloney sent Bracknell Town through to the quarter finals of the Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Challenge Cup on Tuesday night as the Robins defeated Division 1 West leaders Ardley United 1-0.

The game was the second time the two sides have attempted to qualify for the League Cup quarters, the original tie was postponed at the end of 2017 and looked like finishing 0-0 until Maloney met Jamie McClurg’s free kick which was headed on by Carl Davies in the 92nd minute.

The Robins gave starts in the match to Development Team players Kane Fitzgerald and Dan Roberts in the game while joint manager Jeff Lamb was named among the substitutes.
