Our local clubs have been making the printed media this week with Finchampstead and Binfield featured as well of course Bracknell Town following their.. well you know.
First up, Finch boss Jon Laugharne said in The Wokingham Paper this week that his sides turnaround in form is simply down to conversation.
Laugharne’s side have won their last three league games and said after the 4-1 cup defeat to Woodley: “We had a chat. I didn’t read the riot act, didn’t kick off, moan or whinge, it was just a couple of conversations as a group and about looking for a response.”

The Bracknell News’ Dave Wright spoke to Bracknell Town manager Mark Tallentire after the derby with neighbours Binfield on Saturday and about Kensley Maloney’s stunning goal.
The Robins boss said: “For a big crowd to see a player and a goal of that quality to win the game, was a bit special.
“Kensley has been unlucky not to be starting. He missed a week and Joe Grant came in and did exceptionally well to grab the shirt, so Kensley has to bide his time.”

And also in The Wokingham Paper, Binfield manager Roger Herridge believes the Moles are better equipped to deal with the fall out of a defeat to Bracknell Town this time around.
Herridge’s side suffered a horrendous run of form after being knocked out of the Vase by their B3018 neighbours back in September but the Moles boss believes that won’t happen again.
“I think we probably suffered from a little bit of a hangover after being knocked out of the Vase.
“Maybe some of the personalities we had in the dressing room at that particular time possibly weren’t as strong as they could have been.
“But I’ve got no doubts we will be fine this time around.”
