Our semi-weekly round up of all the prominent news in the regional media. This week we have contributions from GloucestershireLive, Bracknell News and the Maidenhead Advertiser.

GloucestershireLive are reporting that Lydney Town will have their key duo of Declan Morley-Lyne and captain Jamie Addis back for Saturday’s tie with league leaders Thame United in news that will put a spring in the step of Bracknell Town supporters.

Manager Mark Lee is hoping Addis, Kerry Hale and top scorer Morley-Lyne are all back for the tie which could decide the outcome of the title race at the weekend. Read the full post here.

‘Incredible’

Lee also commented on Richard Thomas, who we’ve pinned just about every hope on here – calling him ‘incredible’. Every Robins fan will be hoping he is once again on Saturday.

In the Bracknell News, Bracknell Town manager Mark Tallentire felt his side suffered a significant amount of misfortune at Ardley United a week ago.

He said: “It was like someone had put a curse on our strikers or anyone who had a chance in front of goal. We just could not finish off anything.”

We’ll link to the full article here when it is posted online.

Two pieces in the Maidenhead Advertiser this week, but we will start with Flackwell Heath manager Paul Shone saying – and frankly surprising us all – that the Heathens want to finish the season by winning the Floodlit Cup. Read the full article here.

There’s also news from Burnham that chairman Gary Reeves is to step down at the end of the season.
