Bracknell Town have withdrawn their Development Team from the Suburban League according to a report in today’s Bracknell News.

The sides managers Andy Findlay and Rob Creech announced their departures last week and now chairman Kayne Steinborn-Busse has confirmed the Robins second string will pull out of the reserve league.

Speaking to the Bracknell News, Mr Steinborn-Busse said: “We are taking a season’s pause to re-assess what league will best fit our needs going forward.”

The Robins led by Findlay and Creech had narrowly missed out on the Central Division title last season by three points to Flackwell Heath. The duo are expected to be announced as the new managers of Hellenic League Premier Division side Highmoor Ibis in the next few days according to the News’ Dave Wright.

A number of the Robins development team players signed dual registration forms this season with Thames Valley Premier League side Berks County after Bracknell youth team manager Lee Simpson was appointed Swords manager.
