Goals from Dan Roberts and Matt Oppong gave Bracknell Town victory over Binfield in the FiB Cup this afternoon at Larges Lane.

The result means a point against Wokingham & Emmbrook will be enough for Liam Day’s side to win the inaugural pre season tournament.

Day said via the clubs Twitter account: “Fantastic performance today against Binfield Development. Fully deserved the win and looking forward to the new season.”

Binfield boss Ellis Woods was a little more downbeat via @binfieldfc saying: “Not a performance to be proud of at all. Time to take stock!”.

Roberts and Oppong both scored twice each for the Robins while Leon Hewitt got a consolation for Binfield.
