Hellenic League: Bracknell Town romp, Binfield halt slump




Bracknell Town won 6-0 at Royal Wootton Bassett Town thanks to a second half goal fest.

TJ Bohane scored twice against his old club, the first coming on the stroke of half time from a free kick.

Jamie McClurg made it 2-0 and then the goals start raining in.

Adam Cornell, Bohane, George Short added their names to the scoresheet before Carl Davies made it 6-0 from the penalty spot.


The Moles ended a little bit of a bad run with a point in Gloucestershire. Roger Herridge’s side drew 0-0 with Lydney Town while there was a first win of the season for Burnham who beat Ascot United 2-1.

Division 1 East

Abdul Kamara scored the only goal of the game as Woodley United beat Finchampstead 1-0 – Finch were reduced to 10 men during the match.

In the other local game, AFC Aldermaston were beaten 4-0 by league leaders Penn & Tylers Green.
