The Robins of Bracknell Town bounced back from their FA Vase defeat to beat Brackley Town Saints 3-0 in Northamptonshire.
It was never going to be a repeat of the goal fest the last time the two sides met – a 9-0 win for Bracknell a fortnight ago, but the Robins still managed to return home with a clean sheet.
The abscence of Adam Cornell through injury having not missed a minute of the season so far allowed Joe Grant a slightly more advanced role and he duly plundered the Robins first of the afternoon after Kensley Maloney set him free.
TJ Bohane got in on the act after Jamie McClurg was fouled on the edge of the area to send Bracknell in 2-0 up at the break.

It was all Bracknell, and largely Grant in the second half as Mark Tallentire’s side looked to add to their tally.
Grant ran the Brackley back line ragged but it was full back Dave Hancock who popped up with the third from Khalid Senussi’s cross.
The result puts Bracknell within two points of the top three and with games in hand over everyone bar Thame United.
Bracknell Town: Grace, Hancock, Senussi, Short, Whitty, Davies, Maloney, McClurg, Grant, Bohane, Bowerman.
