We’ve pulled out the highlights for your reading pleasure – if you have any pictures or video from the weekend please visit our contribute page or ‘@’ us on twitter @fibracknell. You can also have your say on the action in our comments section below.

Big scores

9 is (sadly) this weeks magic number!

The third side in the County Cup, FC Meta suffered a heavy 9-0 defeat at Reading & District Sunday League Senior Division leaders Dee Road Rangers.

Dee Road, one of the more well known Reading sides and a ‘force’ on the Sunday scene are top of the Senior division with a goal difference of +16 advance to the quarter finals.

Other big scores involving Bracknell sides saw Warfield United knock Bracknell Falcons out of the Junior League cup with a 4-3 victory while bottom of Division 3 Bracknell Titans held FC Harmans Water to a 4-4 draw and Bearwood Wanderers beat Crownwood Dukes 7-0 – also in Division 3.

Clean sheets

A rarity in Sunday League so we celebrate the nine from the weekend..

In the Premier Division, Morale Madrid are catching up with their fixtures and the league leaders after a 5-0 win at Super Reeves, Golden Farmer Rangers kept up the pace at the top with a 4-0 win at home to Raglan while bottom of the table Braybrooke Athletic were beaten 5-0 by Bracknell Celtic who haul themselves away from the bottom.

Just the one Division 1 clean sheet with Ashridge Park beating bottom side 3M 3-0 and in Division 2 WAB beat Bracknell Athletic 4-0 and Binfield Royals defeated Club 8 3-0.

Top of the league

As well as Bearwood Wanderers mentioned above, there were two further clean sheets in Division 3 – but both conspired to see Silver Birch top the table with a 1-0 win over Bracknell Royals.

Previous leaders Ashridge Park u21s were hit for four without reply in a 4-0 defeat at AFC Crowthorne Reserves and have played a game more than the new leaders.

Alphabetical order separates Bracknell Cavaliers and Golden Farmer Rangers at the top of the Premier, Cavaliers 2-2 draw with Binfield AC along with Ranger 4-0 win means the two clubs have identical overall records after six games.

Enjoy the symmetry while it lasts..
Enjoy the symmetry while it lasts..

Something strangely soothing about that..

And finally..

As we’ve mentioned it was a weekend of Senior County Cup action with FC Fernhill 2-1 victors at home to Richfield while Finchampstead were awarded the win in what would have been a home game with current Reading Premier Division leaders Barton Rovers.

Details of the Quarter Final draw will be posted here.
