Ascot United are only involved in late late results it seems.

After being knocked out of the FA Vase by a late Newhaven winner, the Yellamen earned a point in a 2-2 draw at Highmoor-IBIS on Tuesday night in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League.

Jack Smilie got the goal for Paul McGrotty’s side as they came from behind twice at Scours Lane.

IBIS led 1-0 at half time but James Goodey equalised on 72 minutes before the home side went ahead again six minutes later.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division there was a terrific 2-0 win for Bracknell Town over previously unbeaten Thame United – more on that here, while Lydney Town beat fellow Gloucestershire side Longlevens 3-1 at home.

Highworth Town were in Wiltshire cup action and beat Westbury United away 2-0.
