Binfield mounted a second half comeback at Longlevens AFC after going in 2-0 at the break in Gloucestershire in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League.

Moles boss Roger Herridge said on Thursday he believed his side wouldn’t suffer another Bracknell Town hangover but it took a second half hat-trick from Liam Ferdinand and a double from Lewis Leonetti to make good on that belief.

Ferdinand pulled one back for Binfield 53 minutes and Leonetti then twice equalised for the visitors before Ferdinand’s double.

Bracknell Town themselves came from a 5th minute Oxford City Nomads goal down to win 4-1 at Larges Lane.

TJ Bohane scored twice to out the Robins 2-1 in front and Joe Grant and Carl Davies finished things off.

There was more disappoint for Ascot United thought who went down 4-0 at the Racecourse Ground to league leaders Thame United.

There was a fourth league win in a row for Finchampstead who won 2-1 at Holyport courtesy of a Harry Swabey double while Woodley United won 2-1 at home to Rayners Lane thanks to an own goal and a Josh Drew strike after going a goal down.

United were without top scorer Charlie Oakley who was suspended.

Disappointment for AFC Aldermaston at home who lost 3-2 to Headington Amateur’s despite leading twice through Liam Tackley and Michael Porter and there was a heavy defeat for Sandhurst Town who lost 5-1 at home to Penn & Tylers Green – Harry Oakley getting the goal for the Fizzers.
