Drama at Larges Lane on Saturday afternoon as 10 man Ascot United pushed title challengers Bracknell Town all the way in the London Road derby.
Bracknell won the game 3-2 but not before a scare from the Yellamen who were reduced to 10 when former Robins attacker Jon Palmer was dismissed after 5 minutes for denying a goal scoring opportunity to Kensley Maloney.
Joe Grant and an own goal Jesse Wilson gave Bracknell a 2-1 lead while Seb Bowerman scored from the penalty spot and Wilson pulled one back for the visitors at the right end this time.
Grant didn't celebrate his goal against his former club. Class goal, even classier actions after goal.

In the great #oakleyvoakley contest at Scours Lane, Woodley United won by a solitary goal against Sandhurst Town to keep up the pressure on league leaders Penn & Tylers Green.
Fresh Prince scored the only goal of the game as United won 1-0 in the second half, and goals from Joe Cummusky and Kai Parton-Edey gave AFC Aldermaston a 2-0 win at home to Wokingham & Emmbrook.
Matt Jones gave Binfield hope of a point at Highworth Town with a second half goal but the Moles couldn’t overhaul the Worthians 2-0 lead and went down 2-1.
