Binfield under 18s storm in County Cup semi-finals

Binfield FC’s under 18 Allied Counties youth side are through to the semi-finals of the Berks & Bucks FA County Youth Cup after a 13-1 thumping of Chalfont St Peter U18.

The young Moles have scored plenty of goals with a 5-0 win over Phoenix Old Boys U18 in the first round before a walkover in the next round against Maidenhead Boys & Girls U18.

The third round saw a very entertaining 5-3 victory over Finchampstead U18 which was followed up by a 5-1 against Chalfont Wasps U18 in the fourth round.

Next came the quarter-final with the 13-1 score taking the tally for the competition to 28 goals scored and only five conceded.

The semi-finals to be held on Sunday 29th January will see Binfield travel Mursley United U18 whilst Holmer Green U18 will host Buckingham Athletic U18 in the other semi-final.

Good luck to the young Moles in their quest to reach the final.
