Just three Southern Region Women’s Football League matches survived the weather on Sunday as Ascot United and Woodley United’s Division 1 ties fell by the wayside.

There was no issue with Bracknell Town Ladies Premier Division tie at home to Marlow – the artificial surface doing it’s job at Larges Lane – but it couldn’t help the Robins secure their first points of the season as second placed Marlow ran out 4-0 victors.

The other Premier tie that survived the rain was Oxford City’s 3-1 win over Milton Keynes City while in Division 1 Wargrave’s trip to Winchester City Flyers dodged the weather where they won 6-0.

In the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League Division 2 South there were no games after Bracknell Town Development’s trip to Barton Rovers and Sandhurst Town at home to Wargrave Reserves were both called off.
