Three goals, a clean sheet and two red cards in a game that Bracknell Town at times threatened to run away with in a 3-0 win over Lydney Town at Larges Lane.
Over 200 spectators watched on as Bracknell cruised two three more points – the only mark against them being a needless red card for captain Carl Davies with the game won and minutes left on the clock following a booking in the first half.
Bracknell were though superb going forward, striking the post in a first half they dominated and being awarded a penalty in the first half after TJ Bohane was brought down.

Seb Bowerman duly stepped up and made it 1-0.

And moments later John Gray hit a 20 yard curler to make it 2-0.

The second half was much more relaxed, though Bowerman and Joe Grant continued to dance through the defence while substitute Gavin Smith hit the post.
Bohane though had the last word, scoring at the second attempt from close range after Bowerman’s terrific cross.
With the number of postponements on Saturday the Robins stretched their lead at the top of the table to four points. See the latest Hellenic League table here.
