Bracknell Town edged out neighbours Binfield in a Bluefin Sports Hellenic League Cup Quarter Final at Larges Lane on Tuesday night as the Robins celebrated passing the ground grading for promotion.

It was the fourth of five meetings between the two sides so far this season with the Berks & Bucks County Cup Final at Windsor still to come and a possible meeting in the Reading Senior Cup.

TJ Bohane gave the Robins a 1-0 half time lead before the Moles lead marksman Liam Ferdinand levelled things up after the break.

A quick fire double late on in the tie from Adam Cornell and Bohane again put Mark Tallentire’s side in to the semi-finals.

Semi final draw

We expect Bracknell to host Highworth Town in the semi final, but given the league mixed the draw up last time we’ll wait and see. The other semi-finalists are Division 1 East Headington Amateur’s and Brimscombe & Thrupp.

Bracknell Town: Grace, Hancock, Gray, Withers, Rodrigues, Davies, Maloney, McClurg, Cornell, Bohane, Bowerman.

Binfield: Driscoll, Williamson, White, Broome, Brown, A Walton, Pagliaroli, M Walton, Ferdinand, Knight, Moore.
