Bracknell Town in to Hellenic League Cup Final after Headington win

Bracknell Town have reached their second cup final of the season after a convincing 5-1 win over Headington Amateur’s in the Bluefin Sports Hellenic League Challenge Cup semi final at Larges Lane.

The Robins top scorers TJ Bohane and Adam Cornell both scored two each in the win that see’s Mark Tallentire’s side setup a final day rematch with Highworth Town while Ian Davies came off the bench to get his name on the scoresheet.

Headington’s top scorer Luke Cuff began the game in goal but still found time to enter the fray up front and score a consolation for his side.

Headington beat Brimscombe & Thrupp 3-2 after extra time on Tuesday night and will meet Bracknell in the final on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May, we believe the tie will be played at Abingdon United’s Northcourt Road ground.
