Premier Division pace-setters, and this weeks featured team Crowthorne Inn, made it 2 wins out of 2 by defeating last season’s Champions Finchampstead Athletic 3-1 with goals from Luke Crean, Jake Crean and Leon Mannion.
Morale Madrid and FC Meta shared 10 goals in a 5-5 draw, Twigg Vets followed up last week’s draw with a win against Golden Farmer by 2-0. The game between the other two teams promoted from division 1 last season finished in a victory for Intercity away to Wokingham & Emmbrook by 1-3.
Disappointed to have lost their opening game last week Finchampstead Athletic Reserves opened their account for the season with victory away to newly promoted Berkshire All Stars by 2-3. Other winners in Division 1 were WAB and AFC Crowthorne who defeated Winkfield and Ashridge Park respectively.
Two teams to have posted their early intent in Division 2 are Athletico Ascot and Bracknell Athletic who both equalled winning starts last week by beating Braybrooke Athletic and Woodley United respectively this time out.
In Division 3, three teams maintained their own 100% starts to the season in Bracknell Corinthians, WAB Reserves and Woodley Saints, the latter hitting opponents Berkshire United for ten in a 10-0 win.
Goals rained again this week in the newly formed Division 4 with the three fixtures yielding a total of 23 goals.
Winners on week two were Finchampstaed Athletic A, Crownwood Dukes (both registering their second wins) and Bracknell Royals.
