Four Bracknell teams progressed to the 2nd round of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Junior Cup, with Divison 2 side Bracknell Saint Germain causing an upset by beating Division 1 side Hurricanes 5-3. Other teams to progress were Finchampstead Athletic Reserves, Sandhurst FFC and AFC Crowthorne.

In the Bracknell Sunday League Premier Division’s top game, William Twigg Reserves rested top spot from Crowthorne Inn with a 4-2 win in the game between the two teams. FC Fernhill got their season off and running following opening day defeat with an emphatic 7-0 win against Morale Madrid. In the only other game played in the division, FC Meta beat Golden Farmer Rangers 1-6.

In the game between the top two in Division 2, WAB moved 3 points clear at the top with a 1-3 win against Binfield Royals. Warfield United moved second with a thumping 1-11 away win against Braybrooke Athletic whilst this week’s featured team Berkshire All Stars still seek their first league win following a 3-3 draw with Raglan.

In Division 3 both Woodley Saints and Bracknell Corinthians maintained their 100% starts, each winning their third consecutive fixture in defeating WAB Reserves and Berkshire United respectively. Saints stay top with a better goal difference.

Crownwood Dukes stay top of Division 4 despite dropping points in a 1-1 draw with Bracknell Cavaliers Reserves.
