Wantage Town took an early lead in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division clash with Bracknell Town but the Robins hit back through Joe Grant to go in 1-1 at half time.
New signing Harrison Gilkes gave Bracknell a 2-1 lead before pulling up in the second half along with full back Dave Hancock and the Robins promotion challenge took a dent as Wantage scores twice to win 3-2.
In the League Cup Luke Scope and Josh Pearson both scored for Wokingham & Emmbrook but home side Didcot Town Reserves scored four and two late goals for Ascot United’s James Goodey and Mo Davies sent the Yellamen through at Wallingford Town.
A special mention for Sandhurst Town who were led out by midfielder Adam Barnard’s daughter Lilley at home to Bicester Town.
