Bracknell Town narrowed the gap at on leaders Highworth Town at the top of the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division to four points with a 7-0 win at bottom side Burnham on Saturday afternoon.

The Robins ran riot with a hat trick for Adam Cornell and two for strike partner TJ Bohane while Seb Bowerman and George Short also scored.

Our man on the spot Olly Claypole was very pleased to announce the seventh and final goal of the afternoon..

On Friday night Binfield picked up a point at home to manager-less Flackwell Heath in a 1-1 draw – but the evening was soured by an injury to October player of the month Owen Powell who was stretchered off in the first half.

Josh Howell scored in the first half for the Moles but Francis Amartey levelled things up with 11 minutes to go for the Heathens.

Back to Saturday and there was injury time heartbreak for Woodley United who succumbed to a later Windsor winner in a 2-1 defeat at Stag Meadow.

Barry Hayles had put Windsor ahead in the eighth minute only for Toby Briggs to level in the second half. It looked enough to earn a point until Luke Brooks-Smith won it in the 91st minute.

Over at Ascot United, the Yellamen were beaten 2-1 by Thatcham Town with a Shane Cooper-Clark double either side of a James Goodey goal enough to send the points back to West Berkshire.

In Division 1 East the standout tie saw Charlie Oakley score four for Sandhurst Town who managed to edge out AFC Aldermaston 5-3.

Elsewhere goals from Tom Williams and Charlie Dean weren’t enough for Wokingham & Emmbrook who lost 3-2 at home to Virginia Water. Adam McNamara (2) and Lorenzo Di Tommaso scoring for the visitors.
