Craig Masterson hat trick rescues AFC Aldermaston in 7 goal thriller

AFC Aldermaston twice came from behind at home to Milton United on Tuesday night to record a 4-3 victory in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East.

Craig Masterson, who hit a hat trick in the game equalised for the Atom Men on 43 minutes after Milton took the lead on 35 minutes and did so again on the stroke of half time to lead 2-1 at the break.

Five minutes after the restart Masterson setup Callum Eaton for the equaliser and bagged his hat trick on 65 and 75 minutes with Milton getting a late consolation from the penalty spot.

In the Mike Bidmead Suburban League Cup, Bracknell Town under 23s hit six past Harefield United recording a 6-3 victory – full report from this and all the reserve league action in Thursday’s Suburban Football League round-up.
